You need a custom "home" page!
a few links that may help:
(A home of your own...)
... and more!
Here is where you can edit the FileMaker Server Web Direct root on a Mac:
for HTTP redirects...
Macintosh HD/Library/FileMaker Server/HTTPServer/htdocs/index.html
and for HTTPS redirects...
Macintosh HD/Library/FileMaker Server/HTTPServer/htdocs/httpsRoot/index.html
Here is an example of the index.html file if you want guests to be redirected to a database named contacts:
top.location.href = "https://fms.mycompany.com/fmi/webd#contacts";
If you make your main page a php page using your web hosting settings you can redirect in a way that is transparent to the user.
The file would look like:
header("Location: https://fms.mycompany.com/fmi/webd#contacts ");
I could not get your PHP example to work. What are you naming the file and where are you putting it?
What do you mean by "transparent to user"?
Do you mean you could resolve yourself, or this didn't work as expected?
Sorry for not being more clear. I was able to resolve my original question.
I tried Carl's PHP example but I could not get it to work...but it's not a problem since I now have a working solution.
Thanks for your feedback.
