It's going to be pretty hard to track down if it isn't reproducible.
Thanks for the link.
I think you are the first to see this issue in an sdk app.
Are you accessing a hosted solution from the iOS device?
Are you using an iPad Pro 9.7" model?
What versions of iOS, FMP, OS, SDK are you using?
It happened with a local file on an Iphone 5 with IOS 10.1
It happened when I launched my app after a few hours break so I guess it has something to do with hibernation.
It was the first time it happened tough. Pretty sure I did the same operation many times without this strange problem.
It just happened to me again with the SDK 16 and the latest ios
I had to end the app task and restart.
I guess It has something to do with launching an hibernated copy
Device: Iphone 5
App had not been used for a few hours.
Iphone was "asleep".
App was not on the foreground when the Iphone was awaken .
App task was not ended.
I launched the app by clicking on the icon as normal.
Script triggers were disabled.
Notably every OnRecoardLoad triggers on any layout.
Navigating to different layouts did not fix the problem.
Only way to get the triggers back was to end the task and relaunch the app.
The problem is that I could still do some record operations but without the triggers I had some weird results that could be confusing for the end user.
Would there be a way to detect that the triggers are disabled and to act accordingly (by relaunching the app) ?
Will this ever be fixed ?
This is quite a huge bug.
An user had this happen today and it caused all sort of problems and confusion because the script he executed relied quite a bit on an OnRecordload trigger.
I think it's related to an app that is hibernated while being the active app.
I mean that when you wake the iphone, the filemaker sdk app appears .
