We have barcoded thousands of vials over the years, using a 5-character string composed of both alpha and numerical.
I display this information in human-readable on layouts, and use the "Menlo" font, because it nicely distinguishes "zero" from "O" characters.
Nevertheless, human error is persistant, and mixup does occur sometimes.
To reduce that, I'd like to display the string with (for instance) alpha characters in red color. Even though any other ideas would be welcome, my question is whether there is a way of achieving this by conditional formatting of the field, or otherwise.
Thanks for your help,
