The first thing to check is whether you are running a firewall on your Mac, if so, turn it off and test again or add an incoming rule to allow port 81 or 8080 and test again.
A separate web server instance is created for FileMaker Server to use. Are you sure the httpd.conf file is for the FileMaker web server instance?
Thanks for your reply. I did read the document you provided in the link. It did not mention anything special that needs to be done.
And I checked that the firewall on my Mac has been turned off.
If I were to test the FM Web Server on port 80, it would report:
Test web server (http://127.0.0.1:80/fmi-test/test.xml): Error code = 404
- Which I suppose should be correct, since I have an existing web server on port 80.
Anything else that I can try?
Btw, I was mistaken. The httpd.conf belonging to FM Server has the line
