more details, please?
What does the layout look like (screenshot, Layout mode)?
How are the tasks being 'pushed' to a given date (are you scripting or relying on relationships and calculations)?

It helps to tell others a lot more about your design. From a recent PM asking for one of my very old demo files, I can guess that this question is based on that file, but how would anyone else know that each "square" in the calendar layout is a portal and that each row is a record in a list view?
My best guess is that you need to go into layout set up and clear the "delineate..." check box so that formatting applies to all records in the list view and not just the active record.
Are we seeing records in list view, each record having portals on it ?
i'm sorry if i didn't say more details that helps to understand me
i thought that what i said will let you can understand what i need .
forgive me all
yes Mr. philmodjunk it is your calendar
and i did what you said " My best guess is that you need to go into layout set up and clear the "delineate..." check box so that formatting applies to all records in the list view and not just the active record."
and it helps thanks again
if that's the case, would there be a portal refresh issue?
How do you open the calendar now?
You can specify a date (I presume) for the display of that month. Just set it to
Get ( CurrentDate )
Month ( Get ( CurrentDate ) )
phil can probably tell you better.
my problem that i'm still a beginner
Note to those helping. This is based on the demo file attached to this post. A given "month" is produced by pulling up a found set of "weeks" where each record (row in the above screen shots) is one week of the given month.
And yes, a script set to run via "onFirstWIndowOpen" (When file opens) or "OnLayoutEnter" (When you go to the calendar layout based on "weeks") could be used to set a value and perform a find to pull up a found set representing the current month.
There is a "this month" button that already does what you want. You just need to do the same Perform Script with the same script parameter from the script trigger you decide to use.
Set the script trigger to perform: "Create Month"
with this parameter expression:
Let ( today = Get ( CurrentDate ) ; today - Day ( today ) + 1)
