Now that FileMaker 16 is out... I am so very excited to share this with everyone. The RESTful capabilities available in FileMaker 16 is one of the most exciting new features of the 16 release. And as a great example of what is possible is what now becomes possible when you integrate Tableau with FileMaker. If you want to learn how to enable FileMaker as a data source for your Tableau dashboards then read this blog post.

If you want to learn how to add interactivity in your dashboards then look at this post.

Note: that you'll need a valid certificate on your FileMaker Server for Tableau to reach in and pull out your data.

This is something that we all should learn more about. If your customers are already using Tableau then this is a must to look into. If they are not yet using Tableau then worth exploring and showing them what is possible with the integration.

Best - Vince
