Thought it might be handy to post a link to a search that shows a list of issues that have been addressed in FileMaker 16:
FileMaker Pro 16: https://community.filemaker.com/search.jspa?q=%22This+issue+has+been+addressed+in+FileMaker+Pro+16.%22
FileMaker Server 16: https://community.filemaker.com/search.jspa?q=%22This+issue+has+been+addressed+in+FileMaker+Server+16.%22
FileMaker Go 16: https://community.filemaker.com/search.jspa?q=%22This+issue+has+been+addressed+in+FileMaker+Go+16.%22
now we need another list - about the newly introduced bugs in 16!
Why doesn't FMI just create, I don't know, a searchable "database", online, which is rigorously maintained?
Such a database could be a single resource for its customers. So that the database is up to date, this database could be a subset of what FMI uses internally.
FMI: Here are some field suggestions:
1. Problem description
2. Version(s) where problem encountered
3. Status (open, fixed, assigned to development, etc.)
4. Reproducible (was development able to reproduce the problem)
6. Date Submitted
7. Date Fixed (or scheduled to be fixed), Version?
I submitted JDBC bugs it seems like years ago with no updates at all. While it "seems" that these issues have extremely-low-to-no priority at FMI, I really have no idea what their status is.
FMI: The solution to this problem is simple, use and publish a database for your customers.
(If such an online always-up-to-date database exists, I'm not aware of it.)
