If you have a script to "find" your current date, can you post it here?
The basics of an "AND" find is to place values into the two fields to be searched
Enter Find mode
Set Field ( task_date ; Get ( CurrentDate ) )
Set Field ( costumer_ID ; "..." // your value here )
Of course if you have a list of the costumers, you can do some "selection" (button) that gets the ID you want.
First tell us the steps you used to get the record with date only. We'll go from there.
So my steps were like this:
I have a button that makes a receipt -
The script there is:
# Go to Related Show only related records; from table "Tasks"; using layout "Print Receipt" (Tasks); New WindowPerform Find ( Find Records: Tasks: Date task created [\\] )[until now it works fine - I get the records that were made from that date. But I have to narrow them down to the customer I am working on.I am working from a layout based on a customer table - showing a portal with "Tasks" related to a single customer that have been made that same day.I would like to have a button there with a function that makes a receipt only out of those specific new records, omitting "tasks" related to other costumers.Am I making things unneccesarily complicated? Can I maybe make a printable receipt out of a portal like the one I use to create the tasks? The thing is that I cannot find a simple way to make a new related record in the list view, or at least not as simple as through the portal. But the list view is more simple to print .. ?Thank you !
I think I have figured this out - just needed to write it down to realize how I was making this too complicated.
Thank you ! !
