After a couple of hours googling and trying lots of things I hope you don't mind me posting this here...
1. FMS server v15.3 - single machine deployment on windows 2012 R2 - php connecting fine over port 80 but errors when adding port 443 into connection string ->
[message] => Communication Error: (60) SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate
Server has SSL turned on and is using a valid go-daddy cert, db's show green lock and browsing to "https://fully-qualified-domain-name" of server shows no errors and the expected "FileMaker Database Server Website" page which is also trusted by the browser fine. IIS https binding also using go daddy cert.
What are we missing that is giving us this error when trying to do CWP over 443?
2. Is it possible to use FQDN rather than server IP in the filemaker php connection string and if so what format would this take?
$fm = new FileMaker('DBName','IPAddress','Username','Password');
