For single machine, it would be
then there is no merit for using SSL on connection string since there is no network traffic.
Do your PHP codes access from outside of FMS installation?
My Apologies, when I said single machine I meant web publishing and fms on same server but php code is sitting on another server with connection string pointing to fms server. I worked out I could substitute DNS name for IP but again will only work over port 80, errors still on 443.
No problem, I could assume it, need only clarify.
Did you test it with 'https://FQDN:443' ?
I found someone says curl (used in PHP API) doesn't support SSL host verification, to resolve it, additional option should be specified.
If this is the case, you'd need to edit FileMakerImpl.php, add a line somewhere
Or if you have CA file for your server, put it on $path then
Sorry I can't try it myself.
