Scripted card printing inconsistencies?

We are a manufacturing facility and we recently started using a Zebra ZXP Series 3 card printer to print cards that we use for tracking in the manufacturing process.

I have a script attached to a button to print the work order cards that works 99% of the time. I have never had an issue printing from my computer, but my coworker has been having trouble. For him, the cards will often print with a green sheen/overlay (the background of the card should be white, and the background in our FileMaker layout is white). I think this is something to do with the script changing some sort of printer setting, and because it is only happening to him, I really don't think it's a problem with the printer ribbon.

When he goes into the print settings and doesn't change anything, it seems to reset something and the cards will print normally (white) for him for a time. Has anyone experienced this before? I've tried searching for this issue but haven't found anything.
