Product and version FileMaker Server 18.104.22.168, ProAdvanced 22.214.171.124
OS and version macOS 10.12.5
Browser and version Safari 10.1.1 and Chrome 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)
Hardware Local Server, Mac Mini
Since upgrading to FMS 16 (v126.96.36.199) our imported SSL certificate (GoDaddy Standard SSL) does not verify when connecting from ProAdvanced v188.8.131.52. The certificate does still validate when connecting via WebDirect, via ProAdvanced v184.108.40.2065, or via ProAdvanced v14.0.6.
Server is hosted locally on macOS 10.12.5. Client also running macOS 10.12.5.
WebDirect connects securely using Safari 10.1.1 and Chrome 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit).
How to replicate
Connect FileMaker Server 16 from ProAdvanced 16 client to get verification warning.

The installation might be missing the intermediate certificate. The reason FMP14,15 and browsers work is because the intermediate certificate is contained within the certificate stores. You'll want to re-import your GoDaddy certificate with the intermediate.
Hope that helps.
Thanks James! Looks like that did the trick.
Wel i have the same problem. But wat is the intermediate? is that something you get from go dady?
When you download your cert from GoDaddy you should get two .crt files, the primary certificate has a random file name and the intermediate has the word "bundle" in the file name.
yes i have that i have t import this to? I wil try it first thin in the morning
Yes. Import the "bundle" .crt as the intermediate certificate.
it worked great! Thanks
