You can isolate the record in various ways & then export. The question is what do you need to happen next? Do you need to repeat the process (one export for each record) or go back to your previous found set for another reason? ??
Perform find to isolate the one record then export
I need to export data in tab format. This data can be used to another software in excell. In this case I need to export only one record each time.
Actually I do this: copy ID - go in find mode and paste ID. But someone told me that "copy and past" is very dangerous using windows. I don't know other way to isolate the record I need
Rather than "copy & paste":
Set Variable ($tempID ; yourIDField)
Enter Find mode
Set Field (yourIDField ; $tempID)
It just means you are not stepping on the user's clipboard, & the field does not even have to be ON the layout.
Many thanks Beverly, now I must to find it in italian
