In Layout mode, with a new slide object, if I assign first of all an object name to the front panel, the name is also transmitted to the other panels.
This is a "Mother & Child" issue:
You have assigned a object name to the entire Slide Control object (the Mother). This consists of several Panels (Children).
If you already work with the new FM16, use the new 'Layout Object Window' to see the structure.
In my screenshot, the "Mother" is called 'Slide Control', the children are named "0", "1", "2", …
I'm afraid this in not the case:
When you select one of the "giulio" Labels in LayoutObjectsWindow, you should be able to change the Panel's object name in the Inspector:
Sure, Benjamin: obvioulsy I can do it.
Is not a big bug, but can be bothering if not checked immediatly
Thank you for your posts.
I can replicate the issue only when the Slide Control is initially created. If I select another panel and/or deselect/reselect, I can then name the individual slide panels. I have sent this information to our Development and Testing departments for review. When I receive any feedback, I will let you know.
Testing mentions that when a Slide Control is first drawn on the layout, all of the navigation dots are selected. If you want to name each individual slide panel, you need to select the individual navigation dot.
It make sense! thank you!
