Thank you for your post!
I was unable to reproduce this issue with FileMaker Go 16 on iOS 10.3.2. To attempt to reproduce, I followed these steps:
1. Created test.fmp12
2. Created Container Field
3. Uploaded to FileMaker Server 16.0.1
4. Accessed hosted file with FileMaker Go 16.0.1
5. Created New Record
6. Clicked Container Field > Camera > Take Picture > Use Photo
*Followed Steps 5 and 6 until I had 35 records
Are you able to reproduce this in a New File?
Are there additional steps I might need to reproduce?
Hi TSPigeon. I prepared a file to demonstrate the problem, built from scratch in FileMaker 16. I'm seeing unsaved photos at least once every 10-20 photos taken on my iPad Mini 2 running iOS 10.3.2 in both FileMaker Go 16 and FMG 15. The table architecture in this file is representative of how our app is set up, and doesn't seem like it should be problematic. Please take some photos using this demo file on your iPad and let me know what you find.
Hi TSPigeon. Were you able to open my demo file and reproduce the problem I've described? I wanted to let you know that I discovered that if I remove the "New Window" step in the script (and instead capture the photo in the current window), that seems to mostly fix this problem. The exception is the *first* photo taken after rebooting FileMaker Go (close the app then reopen it). That first photo I try to take will usually not be saved. Can you let me know if you're seeing these same results using my demo file?
