Half an idea:
Assuming the url shown in the web viewer is to an image only, you could script the import or the set field using that url. I'm not going to try doing this for you
Now you can get the url of the image either from the portion of the script you used to set the web viewer or using the function that gets the url from the web viewer, see second paragraph
There are numerous functions for getting info from the web viewer.
Thanks! I'll give this a try!
Insert From URL is a script step that you might investigate.
YMMV (your milage may vary)...
I had to use Web Viewer to move "HTML"/plain text to a field, but containers may work as well.
I created a looping script and the key was to PAUSE (something like):
Go to Record (first)
Go to Object ("WebViewerNamed" // this relies on the Web Viewer being named!
Pause (0 // seconds, add more if needed)
Go to Field ( Select; "myContainerField")
Exit loop if ( Get (RecordNumber) = Get (FoundCount) )
Go to Record (next)
You might test with a small found set to see what works.
Thank you all so much for the input!
This was perfect! Thanks Beverly for writing it out the script!
