My database has a staff and a public element.

So I want to create a way that if a new public person enters through web direct they need to sign in as per FM login and create a profile for themselves. Which I would then approve and make public. At this point I would give them a slightly higher privilege.

So at login to web direct, the first FM login process recognises returning public, and lets them in. But a new sign in name forces a registration.

The type of registration form (i will make different ones for Crew, Actors, Suppliers etc.) will also determine their access privileges. (Basic read only with some fields hidden/greyed)

Is it possible to make a simple script at login to force new users to register?

I know how to use global fields to make a registration type form.

I know how to make a launcher file.

Im using Mac and FMpro16

Thanks for any tips.

Jay
