Filemaker 16 Sharing upload to FM Server Connection Failed

    motasea

I am running FM 16 server (two machine configuration).  I installed a wildcard certificate and I am getting all green locks on webdirect and also the fm pro client.  Before I installed the SSL I had uploaded one empty database for testing purposes. When I open the database in the client, everything looks good (even the SSL green lock). However, when I wanted to upload other solutions by File --> Shaing --> Putting the correct Host Name, I get the "Connection failed" .  In short I can't upload any solutions at this point.  I checked to see if port 5003 was open in the FM server Master and I get the following through a netstat command on the windows server:

      Active Connections

      [fmserver.exe]

      among others.

When I do a telnet session from another machine in my LAN to the FM 16 Master server, I get the following:  connecting to myhostname:5003 could not open connection to the host, on port 23: connect failed.

I am not sure what is happening... any input is appreciated.
