I know this topic has almost been beat to death on the forum, but even after looking up I am stumped- though I have learned a few things.

What I want:

I want to select a value from a drop down list, and on modify I want a script to run that will find all instances of the selected value.

What I get:

However, when I go to modify find field and enter in a value I know is existing, it works fine.

Here is what my layout and browse modes look like:

I selected 2.00 from the drop down list and as soon as I did that I get this

I pushed Modify Find, and enter 02.00 in the correct column to search (the field name is Dwg Sheet C, the header just Dwg. Sheet)

Push find...

and it finds dwg 02.00 instances

And hereis why my script looks like.. which is triggered by "On Modify" which I believe means that once the drop down is selected it will run on script

I believe the script reads as:

Click the Find Mode button, go to the field "Dwg Sheet C" and put the contents of "Drop Down for Sign Types" in the field, click the perform find button.

I can't figure out where the hold up is.

Thanks,
