All of a sudden, my Filemaker 14 v6 advanced application crashed within seconds of opening. No files are open.
I am working from Windows 10.
Is there anything i can do besides reinstalling the application.
Any ideas of why it would be happening?
In the start menu, search for "View reliability history", this should show you some additional info as to why FileMaker is crashing. If you choose the relevant day, then right click on FileMaker, you can "View technical details", this may help (or may not)
Do you use plugins? If so, perhaps try loading FileMaker Pro without any plugins installed.
Can you open up FileMaker Pro 14 Adv. from the Application folder, not via your solution? If so, open the application, open script debugger and data viewer, then open your db.
When you try to open your database is any error log generated?
I would also recommend trying to open another db or a starter solution.
I have only been trying to open if from the applications folder. Haven't attempted opening a solution.
I'm not sure how to access an error log. The only message i get is about FM closing, and notifying Windows.

Under fault module, it lists 360Works_ScriptMaster.fmx64
If only i had admin privileges to get rid of this.
Is there a way to open filemaker without extensions loading?
Turns out I can delete extensions. And deleting the 360works extension did the trick.

I don't think there is, other than removing the plugin files from their installed location.
It might not directly relate to the plugin, although I don't use 360 Works myself, I believe it uses Java, so perhaps a java update was performed (perhaps even via a Windows update) or something related that may have caused it.
I'm sure somebody will correct me if I am wrong here.
Have you updated your extensions? If you just installed them when you first installed 14 a few years ago, they may be in need of an update especially since you are using Windows 10.
