Collecting unique values in a found set...

      Hi everyone,

What's the best way to collect unique field values from a found set? Specifically, I have a found set of records that contain a field named "dieNumber". The found set might have 3 records with one dieNumber value, 17 with another dieNumber value, and just 1 of a third dieNumber value. How do I create a list that includes just those three unique dieNumber values? (I can do it using the noob approach of looping and if-then script steps, but I'm tired of being a noob.)

I tried the UniqueValues function that is apparently new in FMP 16, but it doesn't work because the field I'm trying to find unique values for is a related field, not in the table from which I'm running the script.

Thanks for any help you can give.

      Dean
