FM Pro uses a preferences file, did you delete that before reinstalling?
What are the specs on the computer running it? Does it meet the technical requirements?
Your other symptoms, especially not being able to open a file, make me think that you may have some other application on there that's causing the issue. Anything else that could be in the way?
Thank you. I installed the application again, along with all Filemaker Preference files in my user library.
The application started clean, with all the tutorial stuff again, etc.
I quit and relaunched it several times without hang up
I am able to launch the app from a file on the MAC
Sees the server, but still no files. I will restart both machine and hub one more time and report back.
When you say “hub”, is that a peer-to-peer computer or is it running filemaker server?
Hub = Airport Extreme.
Also, I have a pro Tower, hardware is not the issue. Everything and every other application are working fine.
Also, this whole set up has been this way for years and worked fine up until yesterday.
Happy to say, clearing the preferences and Restarting everything seems to have done the trick.
