Make sure that your three layouts are really based on three different tables. You'll need to check "show records from" in layout setup and compare that name to the "boxes" in your relationship graph, checking to see what data source table is represented by each such "box".
That said, I would put the data from all three years into a single table if at all possible. Putting each year's data into a different table creates more problems than it solves.
Thanks Phil. It appears that i had some junk in the relationship graph window due to me creating duplicates. I cleaned those up and managed to tie the layouts to the 'Show records from" and that worked like a charm. Thanks for your help. Saved me a lot of frustration :-)
BTW, I did think about using a single table however i have over 9 Million records from each year and wanted to separate them to possibly reduce query processing time for reporting.
