The new Layout Objects palette is wonderful, something I have been eager to have for many years and version. There is only 1 thing that isn't as perfect as it could be, and could be easy to implement:
A double click on the Title Bar of the palette should collapse the palette so that the only thing visible would look like this.
This would insure that the Layout Objects palette is not covering up other things like the Inspector or the Data Viewer. Another double click on the title bar would re-open it to its previous size.
Adobe implements various tools like this to handle the numerous palettes that are used in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Another excellent example is the way Apple's Stickies notes can be compressed to show only their title bar.
No matter how large one's display is, there is always a shortage of space because the database window often occupies a large portion of the display, leaving little room for easy access to palettes like Inspector, Data Viewer.
It would be great if the same thing could be done with Script Workspace and DataViewer and allow them to be "docked" somewhere too.
