Since the sample file isn't working either: Did You change the IP of the new server? Subnet-address?
Can You add a new host from a client with the actual IP of the server?
Are You using a starter-file for opening the databases? Is xy.fmp12 the file that the start has to open?
Is xy.fmp12 available on the server? fmnet-access ok? As mentioned above - IP correct?
I hate to even say this, but did you try a reboot of the machine?
I did not change the IP nor the subnet-mask. I can reach the console in
the browser as usual, https://Server-IP:16000.
What do you mean by add a new host from a client? I tried to upload a
new file from the client, from within FM. This didn't work - Server not
found or something alike. But I can connect via Samba or VNC, that's as
all as it was.
Yes, xy.fmp12 is the only file, that has to be opened. Everything else
is controlled by scripts.
What do you mean by available on the server? I do not have a client
(FMP, FMPA) installed on the same machine. How can I ckeck this? At
least the administrator console says the file is running normal...
