I experienced this in MacOS.
I probably did 'something' to cause it but can't figure out how to 'undo' it. Comments? Thanks
Do you have at least Sierra 10.12 and FileMaker 16.0v2?
Yes and Yes The blackout inspector disappeared after closing out FM and restarting it. Seems like a bug somewhere. Haven't seen it before or since.... curious R
Are you able to reproduce consistently? If so, can you send us the steps.
I can not reproduce it regularly.
It seems to be part of 'Inspector Weirdness' on my system.
Sometimes, I can not click the 'Allow in Browse' checkbox until I first click in the 'Make Invisible When...' box.
Just a little weirdness....
I've seen this too, going back a number of versions of Mac OS and FMP. Sometimes windows will be unresponsive to the mouse, at other times the window content is not drawn, like your screen shot. I worked around the issue by switching to another application and then switching back to FMP, that was usually enough to solve the mouse problems. The window drawing problems could sometimes be solved by switching between windows ( cmd-` on my machine ) or some combination of switching apps and switching windows.
