One option is to use: GlobalField & ¶
in your use of position to find a given value. That handles the issue of no trailing return.
There are also custom functions that will give you a value's position in a list that you can use.
Or you can roll your own function or script that loops through the list and stops on the first value that matches.
Note that GetValue ( table::globalfield ; x )
will return the xth value of the field so once you know the position add 1 and use get value.
