One to One relationship-primary keys

Hello forum.  I had a question regarding a one-to-one relationship.  My concern is about primary keys.  I have the standard primary key in the first table linked to a primary key in the second table.  I have "allow creation..." checked in table #2.

Table1::pk = Table2::pk (allow creations...)

On the layout, based on table #1, I have fields from table#2.  So, when I create a new record on the layout, then put data in any of the fields that are from table #2 and commit, it automatically creates a related record in table #2, and the primary keys match (just like a portal).   All of that works as I guess it is suppose to.

So my question comes down to this:

When creating a one-to-one relationship, do I just treat the primary key in table #2, as far as attributes go, the same way one would create and specify the attributes for a basic foreign key?

Seems like that's right, and it works, just wondering about any 'gotchya' s.
