hi, Is that any way to only show 5 of last new records on list view?
There are several ways to do this.
Last 5 records by what? creation date? modification date? record id?
yea creation date
a scripted find will produce a found set of record on a specific date or date range.
If your goal is to show the 5 newest records by creation date...what if there are 15 records created today?
what criteria would you then use to decide which 5 to show?
Show All Records
#You now have a found set of all records, unsorted. The most recent records are last
Go to Record/Request/Page [First]
Omit Multiple Records [ with dialog:off ; Get ( FoundCount ) - 5 ]
This will omit all but the last 5 records--which will be your 5 most recently created records
as I said 5 records today I create today
I want to I have a scroll on my body then I have portal under my body.
my problem is when I create new record my portal goes down and I don't like this interface.
I don't like my portal goes down.
You asked for a list, so my answer applies to a list view. It does not apply to portals.
so I can't do this work?
It looks like you are using a trailing grand summary for the portal. Try using a footer instead. It will lock the portal to the bottom and you can then scroll the body without changing the portal location.
Not bad.. it only took 7 posts to get to the real question.
Portal content can be affected by Portal Filtering or the relationship in the relationships graph.
You should read up on those.
