Image containers

Hi! We've just upgraded our database from fm11 to fm16. I'm having a bit of a problem. All our pictures (We're a school photo studio so we have tens of thousands) are stored as a reference only. When I view the database locally (In the same offices where the network drive containing the pictures are) everything displays fine, but when I access it remotely (Say, from home), I can't see the images (Everything else is displaying properly).

The fellow I spoke to on the phone seems to think this is because the image files are hosted on a network drive, so any PCs connected to it can see the pics, but anyone who isn't on our LAN can't see them at all. When I set them to store the data externally, and the database tries to transfer them so they're stored with the host, it just skips them all. Not sure why...

If it helps, in Manage Containers, the only location listed is [Hosted Location}/servername/

Any help would be great, thanks!
