I am executing one script with perform script on server where it's calling " Script A". Script A is finding data. Here on Perform find I am gettinf error code 100. So far I know is you get this error with import/export record
whats is missing here?
Error 100 means that the file could not be found. Are you using the Data Separation model? Where is your data located?
PSOS cannot open a file that the client does not have open prior to making the PSOS call. Make sure that any files, front or back end if using data separation, that are needed by the PSOS script are open before making the PSOS call.
I've had the issue in the past when using a variable for the external data source. The PSOS session doesn't remember the global variable from the client and needs to be set in the startup script. This could also be part of the problem.
good one! (Must not have been too far in the past as that feature is brand new in v16 ;-)
Yes. Files are hosted on the server.
But these are the database files not the UI.
In terms of what I first posted, it makes no difference. If the client doesn't have the file open before making the PSOS call, PSOS cannot open the file. UI or data, it's the same limitation.
So, I should add open file script step , right ?
That would be one option.
