Yesterday I had a call from one of my clients, he was unable to open the Manage Security menu item. When I shared screens with him it was clear that all of the main FileMaker menus were missing.
I have been running primarily on Macs so the menus are always on the top of my screen. In Windows they have to be turned on. To resolve this, I added a couple of lines to the On open script
If [PatternCount ( Get(AccountPrivilegeSetName ); "Full Access" )]
Show/Hide Menubar [Lock; On; Show ]
I wonder if this should be the default set up for files. In this case the client started on an earlier version of FileMaker so the menu was always available. When the updated to 16 it vanished.
