Hi, how can I send activation links like Dropbox or other websites to my users for login FileMaker web direct?
You'll have to explain the whole workflow you have in mind. A typical activation workflow is one where an account is created but is not active until the user verifies their email address.
So how would the account get created in FM in the first place? What does that process look like?
Yea sir in my project first user sign up and when he sign up I want to reply his information with one activation link then user click on activation link and now his registration is complete.
You could email them a custom license key and on next logon have a script that checks for the license key, if not present ask them to enter it!
Check out the "Random" function below, I use it to create these type of numbers... or you could UUID?
Alternate, you could include a script & parameter in the link you generate in the email.
Where I fear that this is going that it requires authentication into the FM file *before* switching the the user to its proper authentication level. Thousands of posts on this forum have already been spent on feedback on this kind of 'ersatz' security scheme. The short version: don't do it. Don't authenticate all users no matter who they are and then let your scripts decide if they should be allowed and at what level for authorization.
My advice would be to do this kind of sign-up and account verification upstream from FM, away from FM and only create the account in FM when that process is done.
