Insert from URL

OK, I'm trying to use the new Insert from URL with cURL options with the Fleetmatics API.  I have created the following header which includes a Base64Encode of the authorization of a fake User and password of "UserName:Password".

-X GET  --header

"Accept: text/plain"

-d Authorization: Basic VXNlck5hbWU6UGFzc3dvcmQ=

I tried this with Insert from URL (with SSL confirmation turned off, used same URL and Target, and these cURL options) and it won't work (gets stuck at URL Data Transfer dialog that just says "Transferring").  If I use the Base Elements Plugin with this setup, it does work:

BE_HTTP_POST ( $URL ; "" ; "UserName" ; "Password" )

So what is Base Elements doing that Insert from URL is not doing?  I've anally analyzed the cURL options including making it a single line, making sure the quotes are not curly quotes, that the spacing is exactly as the API documentation shows, etc.  I've noted the API asks for a GET but the BE plugin is doing a POST.  I did try changing the cURL header to POST with no success either.

While I love Base Elements plugin, I was hoping to get this working natively.

Any suggestions are welcome.  Thanks!
