Hi there,

I'm in the middle of creating a Library Log and tracking system for my wife to use at her library. She needs a way to track the students going into and out of the library. (Thankfully, this has nothing to do with books!) It's going on an iPad.

The anticipated workflow is:

  1. Student checks in via Bluetooth keypad with numeric Student ID to perform lookup from self contained table.
  2. Timestamped entry with name,  current status, and ID created in StatusLog.
  3. Confirmation welcome on screen.
  4. Reset for next student.
  5. If no valid entry, then Librarian or Aide creates new record.

If there's a fire or other emergency, then Librarian grabs iPad and uses it as the Roster at muster point.

Basically, what I need is just a stripped down version of Beezwax's OfficeHub. Very simple, but I wonder if anyone has already created such an application and would be kind enough to share it.

Thanks!
