I'm in the middle of creating a Library Log and tracking system for my wife to use at her library. She needs a way to track the students going into and out of the library. (Thankfully, this has nothing to do with books!) It's going on an iPad.
The anticipated workflow is:
- Student checks in via Bluetooth keypad with numeric Student ID to perform lookup from self contained table.
- Timestamped entry with name, current status, and ID created in StatusLog.
- Confirmation welcome on screen.
- Reset for next student.
- If no valid entry, then Librarian or Aide creates new record.
If there's a fire or other emergency, then Librarian grabs iPad and uses it as the Roster at muster point.
Basically, what I need is just a stripped down version of Beezwax's OfficeHub. Very simple, but I wonder if anyone has already created such an application and would be kind enough to share it.
