how to set web viewer as Container image
May I ask what are you looking for specifically? Do you want to show a container image inside a web viewer? For what purpose? Would this be part of other HTML code, that is, are you wanting to place the container image inside a div?
You can place an image inside a web viewer if you want to display it in a div, but it requires some base64 encoding.
If you can provide a bit more detail about what you want to do, we can help you out.
I have a lot image, i need to load all on my database, without making the size of the database large, so I am thinking about using a web viewer to show a container image inside it, If you have another method can be used in this case, can you tell me.
You can do this by setting a container field to use external storage. In the field options, on the Storage tab, you will see a checkbox to "Store container data externally" and further options there. Will that work?
If these images already exist in some organized way (in folders, on a server, etc) with an existing naming convention.. or if they need to be readily available outside of FileMaker, I'd probably use a webviewer with a url calc, to call up the appropriate image for each record, based on that exisiting structure/naming.
If there's no existing folder structure/organization to preserve, and you don't need access to these images outside of your FileMaker solution, a container is much easier.
It may also be helpful to know that you can use import records with the folder option to insert every image file in a folder into container fields in your file.
