I send my customer an icon so they can just click it and it takes them to my solution.
It has the URL to the solution, thier ID number and password, as a part of the URL.
I'm using Windows 10. "Yep I'm ready for the jokes..."
I keep all of the Icons ive sent in folder on my desk top... When i get a new customer i just copy/paste it change the id and send it to them.
Not sure when, but they got zapped. Either Windows or Adobe completly changed the icon.
I did a restore point to a month ago. Got them back long enough to hide them, during the time I was hiding them it zapped it again.
I have the hidden ones, but need to figure out why its happening.
Has anyone experience this? If so do you know the cause?
This is basically a windows issue and not one for which I can provide a solution, but you could insert each of those HTML files with their custom icons into container fields of a FileMaker solution. That should protect those copies from what ever is "zapping" the custom icons. Then, if one these files loses it's custom icon, you can export a new copy from the container field.
