I'm using 360works plugin on filemaker to send a html email and its throwing a 'EOF error'. Does anyone know what this error is / what the problem could be with?
Thank you for your post!
I'm going to move this thread from the FileMaker Community Feedback Space (which is specifically for input on the Community itself) to the Discussions Space where you might receive more views and potentially more feedback on this topic!
EOF means End Of File, meaning something like reading past the end of file.
Do you use a file as a parameter to the function called ? To get more help please specify FileMaker version as well the plugin version.
Would this be in terms of a within saved script or filemaker software itself? Filemaker 16 and 360works Plugin version 2.1
I don't think it's within FileMaker itself. My guess is that it could be a parameter that fouls either a script step or a function inside 360works. Did you check the html code that is that the email message in a browser ? You may simply load it in your browser to see if it works right. There could be for example a tag that's not closed, and that could trigger the EOF error.
Are you using error handling in your script (see Error handling - 360Works Product Documentation Wiki ). Does the error throw an error number, if so what is the number ?
EDIT # 2
See if that helps: EOF error on EmailSend function - 360Works Email Plugin - FMForums.com .
