Hi, Can I design File Maker with CSS or PHP?
CSS is a way to choose how to handle the design on a webpage.
PHP is a program language you can use to get data out of FileMaker Server using Custom Web Publishing
you could probably use any web technology to design an interface into m now that we have the rest api.
Whether or not that is a good idea remains to be seen.
You can use a web viewer with JS and HTML to view and edit your FM data.
"Design" as in modify a FM file (layouts in CSS and scripts in PHP)? The no.
But consume FM data from the outside through an HTML/CSS web page with PHP as the web-scripting language: yep. You can pretty much use any web-technology out there to consume FM data and interact with your FM solution. You are not limited to PHP as the language for that. JS, ASP.NET, Ruby, Python,... they will all work.
