Hi guys I have Popover button and rectangle box as bacground. Now when I click on the buton and when button popovers down my Rectangle box stays on the same place. How to set that recatngle box folows popover down ???Orlando siplus
If you want the popover and contents to expand with the screen then you need to apply autoresizing to the the popover and rectangle,
From the inspector go to Position then down to Autoresizing
Then both the popover and rectangle inside will expand.
Is this what you are trying to achiveve?
thx for answer but no I want that rectangle auto size when i click on button. When popover display I want that rectangle folow the size of popover see in atach the problem.Black bacground is rectangle and if you can see it is not folowing popover to down direction
So is this the background of you layout and not the popover you want to expand?
If so why not have this expanded all the time to fill your screen? For this you need to place an object on the layout that is set to anchor to the bottom right and then the layout will fill the screen, the object does not even need to be within the viewable screen area, can be off to the right so it will never be seen.
Hope this is closer to what you are asking for
Black color is the bacground 1 of the layout, the white color is bacground 2 created from rectangle. So if you can see the popover is also white but it pops out outside of the bacground 2 how can i set when button pops that bacground 2 is folowing the pop down ???
Right, ok, then you can do this by having a second background object that is white, with a hide condition applied to it so it will only show when the popover if activated and a global variable is set.
To do this you need to:
Isempty ( $$popoverActive )
Set Variable [ $$popoverActive ; Value: Get ( scriptParameter ) ]
Refresh Object [ Background ]
Now in browse mode see how this looks
wow thank you thank you so much. I dont know how will I learn if there is no you guys for help thx. Sory if i boder you I am creating some small platform so if I again fail somewhere i will ask question
Pleasse just one more thing what if i put betwen button how can i make that this button folow same action with pop ?
No problem at all moriosn always happy to help, glad we got the solution you wanted .
Do you mean you want a second popover to show the extra background object? If so just replicate the script triggers, calling the same script, as you have on the first one.
hmm I mean somthing like this in the picture:
Oh i see, then create a second button and place this below the popover area and apply the same hide condition, you may need a second Refresh Object in the script to make it show also.
Or you could just place it within the popover itself at the bottom as another option

I would pick the second option all the time, because you don't need to hide nor refresh, and one day when you decide you want to change the size of the popover you will only have to work inside the popover, moving the button accordingly, not outside.
All our popovers have their Cancel / OK / whatever inside the popover itself.
