HTTPS folders under Windows Server

Question asked by velistar on Oct 20, 2017

Hi all,

I am trying to host some PHP scripts on my Windows Server which runs FMS 16.

I know from the official documentation (p.69) that I need to store them under the following folder

"For IIS (Windows) through HTTP or HTTPS:
[drive]:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Server\HTTPServer\Conf where [drive] is the drive on the master machine where your FileMaker Server deployment resides. "

I do exactly that but when I try to go to https://<fqn>/example/example.php that doesn't work. If I go instead to http://<IP address>/example/example.php then it is just fine.

Is there anything else that could be blocking this? Also I enabled "Use HSTS for web clients" on the server admin console.

Further down in the same page as the above there is also:

"If your web server is 192.168.123.101 and your site home page is on the web server at c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\customers\index.php, then the web user would enter this URL:

http://192.168.123.101/customers/index.php"

.....which is kind of contradictory to the above :S
