Hi,

I like to see if its possible to add 1 year on the date if the date is greater than x months ( maybe 12 months) from the current year. can this be added to the validated calculation?

The idea is filemaker would change the year of the date by adding 1 year to the current year.

This is for creating post-dated checks/meetings/schedules.

Example

Post-dated check

Current date 10/20/2017

The user input 10/10 date, filemaker will automatically change it to 10/10/2017 - current date and year (correct date and year)

if the user input 1/1 date, filemaker will still change it to 1/1/2017 - current year (correct date but wrong year)

the result should be 1/1/2018

if the user input 1/1 date, the validation check or a script will change the year from 2017 to 2018

is this workable?

Thank you!
