I use a single set variable script step with a let statement to set a large number of locally scoped variables. I like this approach because the variables I set should rarely change and it keeps my scripts readable. I have this script step repeated in a couple of scripts and I am attempting to get all that code into a single script that I can call to set all those variables the same every from any where this new script ( set variables batch ) is called.
I do not want to use global vars to pass the results. I think I need to pass my let statement as text in the result and evaluate it in the parent script. Can any give me an example of how that should look? I've been beating my head against the wall on this for way too long. Thanks!
