Hi, Is there a way to export Jpg Images from FileMaker Pro 11 to Microsoft Excell?
Thank you for your post!
FileMaker does not standardly export container contents to Excel.
I'm going to move this thread from the FileMaker Community Feedback Space (which is specifically for input on the Community itself) to the Discussions Space where you might receive more views and potentially more feedback on this topic!
Thank you. Robert

When you use the Export Field Contents script step you have an option to automatically open the file that is exported. This will open the file in whatever software you have specified in your OS settings to be the default software to use for that type of file. For example, on my system a jpg file would be opened in Photoshop, a png file would be opened in Preview, a pdf in Acrobat, etc.
I'm Trying to do that, but I have a hard time finding out how to set up my system so that a jpg file would be opened in Photoshop Thank you. Robert
try googling that question. The answer largely depends on which OS you're running.
On a Mac you do this in the Info panel. Select any jpg and choose File > Get Info (command I). half way down you will see the Open with: option
When you make your selection from the list of software recommended, you can also click the Change All button (which will be active if you have actually made a change) to set that as the default software for all jpg files.
If you are using Windows I dare say there is some means of doing this same thing, but being Windows it is probably more convoluted. Someone else may be able to advise if needed.
