Hi, earlier we started discussions about webdirect screen flickering in Chrome.
This flickering occurs in Chrome only, not in Internet Explorer 11 of Microsoft Edge.
The problem was never solved so far.
Other developers had similar issues in their applications.
Further investigation showed the following violation messages in the Chrome console
com.filemaker.jwpc.iwp.widgetset.UIWidgetSet-0.js:3510 [Violation] Added non-passive event listener to a scroll-blocking 'mousewheel' event. Consider marking event handler as 'passive' to make the page more responsive. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5745543795965952
The violation Message handlers took approx. 300ms each time this violation occurs.
I have 3 questions for the community:
1. Can anyone explain what this message means?
2. Can this be the cause of the flickering in Chrome?
3. If so, what can we do to eliminate this scroll-blocking 'mousewheel' event, whatever it may be?
Thanks in advance for your help
