Hi everyone

I'm a medical doctor who train doctors in the use of medical ultrasound. Part of their training is demonstation of ultrasound recordings from real patients. I use iBooks for this, but it is very cumbersome to use this platform. Therefore I'm trying to make my demonstration app i FM, for use in a  FMGo app.

I use gif-files as the video-media, because it is very useful for this purpose due to small files, automatic looping etc.

I use Base64Encode ( GIF-container ) to convert the gif-file into binary, and hereafter html code for the web viewer

"data:text/html,<img src='data:image/gif;base64," & 'gif64_field' & "'>" - 'gif64_field'is the field with the Base64encoded gif.

It works ok, but can surely be refined. Things I would like to optimise is

1) Size of the gif-file: Is there a way where the size of the gif-file automatically can fits into the webviewer

2) I want a black background on the layout, but the webviewer present the gif files with a white border around til video. How can I get rid of this ?

I would be very grateful for suggestions on how til do this optimisation

Kind regards

Lars Knudsen
