I am running Windows 10. EVEN WITH "Print to File" unchecked, FM insists on printing
to a file. Huh?
It just started doing this and I don't know why???? (I tried rebooting my printer but to no avail)
From any FileMaker file or just one specific file?
Try a brand new file and see if you get the same issue.
If this works fine for a new file, try recovering the problem file. I'd use advanced recover options with:
Copy file blocks As Is
Delete cached settings.
If that doesn't fix the file, try a full up recover...
Well, that solution was 'magic'.
I haven't checked for full functionality but at least I can print scripts! Yes
I noticed in the log file references to much older versions of the file that is misbehaving... What is going on? Or better yet, I should probably just check the FM site for information on that.
Each time you do a recover, the results are appended to any existing log file in the same folder. So if you've previously run recover and then ran it just now, you'll see the results of both recover operations in the same log file. It can be helpful to delete that text file just before you do a recover to keep the new results separate from the previous.
