Hiding fields messes up at 10.

I'm having trouble hiding objects. I have a field called "Number of Ranks" and ten fields labeled Rank 1, Rank 2 and so on. Basically, my app is for authors and I'm trying to allow them to set a large number of ranks and name them. So, the "Number of Ranks" field is a dropdown list and the values are 1 - 10 (I'm starting small while I figure things out). In the "Hide object when..." box, I put "Army::Number of Ranks < the selected rank field. For example, if I used the field "Rank 6", it would be "Army:: Number of Ranks < 6". That way, it stays hidden unless someone chooses 6 ranks. So, in Ranks 1-9, it worked perfectly. However, when I reached Rank 10, it stays hidden only if the chosen number is less than or equal to 0. Is this a format issue or did I mess something up? Below is a picture to show you both the "Hide object when" as well as the layout setup. Hide when.pngValue.png
