Tableau Connector Throws Fatal Error

After an initially successful connection and data import with tableau desktop pro, 10.4, the tableau connector now returns a fatal error when importing data with tableau desktop pro 10.2.1

"throw DataSourceException (type=WDCAbortError): Failed to fetch Data : error : Bad Gateway : FM Data API server is down."

The data source setup works as expected. However, the update function fails: no data is imported.

The FMS Logs show no problems for the data API

The data API has been confirmed working with a standard rest client - auth works, and a find on the relevant layout works.

The data API was confirmed working with the same credentials as those used in the data connecter

The FMS logs show no problems.

The Tableau logs merely show the error above, which is what the data connector returns.

Tried a reboot of the server

All FMS services are ok, according to the FMS Admin Status page.

FMS has a valid cert installed (green lock icon in FMPA)

FileMaker Server - Mac OS

Tableau Desktop Pro 10.2 .1 - Mac OS
