My question is that is there any script to change the existing initial value of auto enter in any database field.
No, but you can redefine the field manually such that instead of this auto-entered constant value, you use a calculation that references a field or variable. You can then change the value auto-entered when the record is created by first changing this variable or field. This can be a field in a utility table linked in a Cartesian Join, or it can be either a global field or global variable initialized from such a record via script at the time the file opens.
Thanks friend for your valuable reply.
But in brief I want to say that the auto enter field is name as bank check no. And in this field the check no. Changes to next ch. No on every nelaw record request. As on completion of that check book a new issued check book with different ch.no. From here before going to new record request i have to in edit mode and there in ch.no. field I have to change the initial value with new check book first ch.no. Though I have tagged a custom message on last ch. leaves. No.as warning message. So I want as this message comes I can change the initial value with new no through any button script.
Then it appears that you are talking about an auto-entered serial number. The Set Next Serial Value script step may be used to update that setting.
