I'm using filemaker to send emails via the 360 works plugin. I need it to open up in outlook so people can amend it before being sent rather than automatically sending. How do I go about this?
Maybe you should not even try. You can pop up the message to be sent in a FileMaker layout in a text field where the users can review and edit and then your current methods of sending the email can be used to send it.
Why not just use the Send Mail script step and leave the dialog turned on?
Assuming there is a valid reason to use a plugin (e.g. in order to be able to create html formatted e-mails and/or multiple attachments), one method I've used to do something similar is to use 360Works e-mail to create the e-mail (using the EmailCreate function) and then move it to the Drafts folder (using the EmailMoveCurrentMessage function).
In my case, I did this with Gmail, which users access through a browser, but depending on your mail server, you can probably able to make this work in Outlook as well.
